Mongolia

Mongolia is the least populated country in the world. It is not no. 1 on the usual travel destination list yet its nature and its people are beautiful in many ways.

The Mongolians and the Kasakh people are strong and resilient and they are proud of their strength. But at the same time they open the doors of their yurts to everyone - their hospitality is overwhelming.

In this country you can learn a lot about sharing - sharing natural ressouces, sharing space, sharing food and always a bowl of hot milk tea and not least sharing ideas and thoughts.

There are many ways of exploring this astonishing country and it's diversity. Let us know your favourite...

- hiking

- on horseback

- in one of the traditional Russian vans

- with a reindeer

- on a motorcycle

or any combination of the above

Mongolian landscapes are diverse: the Altai mountain ranges of far western Mongolia with its peaks higher than 4000 m, the wide plains of the steppes that cover half of the country, or the Gobi desert  until the larch woods  and huge lakes of the north - all of them are united in their vastness and rough beauty.
